To enroll you'll need: a High School Diploma, GED, or proof of current high school enrollment; to be at least 16 years of age; a copy of your State ID or Driver's License; and a copy of your Birth Certificate or Social Security Card.

No experience is required. Our programs start with the fundamentals and build up to advanced, competition-ready skills — whether you're brand new to the industry or returning to it.

Yes — every program is hybrid, combining online coursework with hands-on in-person training in our student salon, so you can fit your education around real life. Contact admissions at (772) 577-6988 for the current class schedule and available start dates.

It depends on the program: Cosmetology and Barber are 1,200 hours, Facial Specialist is 260 hours, and Nail Specialist is 240 hours. Continuing Education courses run from 3 to 7 hours each. Each program page lists its length and estimated weeks to graduate.

Total tuition is listed on each program page. Enrollment starts with a deposit, and the remaining balance can be split into bi-weekly or monthly payment plans. You can also pay in full. All balances must be paid before you're released for your final examination.

Institutional scholarships may be available. There are no tuition discounts, but our admissions team will walk you through every payment option to find what works for your situation — just ask.

FSCS is a state-licensed institution and holds NACCAS candidacy status. Our programs are designed to prepare you for Florida state licensure.
