Institutional Statement

Commitment to Educational Excellence & Workforce Readiness

Florida Student Cosmetology School is committed to providing career-focused education that prepares students with the knowledge, practical skills, professional standards, and personal responsibility necessary to enter Florida's beauty and barbering workforce.

As a Florida-licensed postsecondary career school, we are committed to the following principles:

01

Transparent Admissions & Student Information

FSCS maintains clear admissions requirements and strives to provide prospective students with accurate information regarding program requirements, tuition and fees, completion expectations, school policies, and pathways to professional licensure. Admissions decisions are based on published requirements applicable to the program of study.

02

Respectful Learning & Open Inquiry

FSCS supports a professional learning environment where students may ask questions, exchange ideas, develop critical-thinking skills, and learn from instructors and one another. Students and employees are expected to communicate respectfully and conduct themselves in a manner that does not interfere with the education, safety, or rights of others.

03

Professional and Educational Integrity

Our curriculum and instructional practices are centered on the competencies, theory, practical skills, safety standards, sanitation practices, professional conduct, and licensure preparation necessary for careers in cosmetology, barbering, nail specialty, and facial specialty.

04

Affordability, Transparency & Student Outcomes

FSCS is committed to clearly communicating tuition, fees, program requirements, and school policies before enrollment. We continually evaluate our programs and student outcomes with the goal of helping students successfully complete their education, pursue professional licensure, and enter the workforce.

05

Academic Rigor & Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence

FSCS believes technology, including artificial intelligence, can support education but should not replace genuine student learning, skill development, critical thinking, instructor engagement, or honest assessment. Students are expected to demonstrate their own knowledge and competency, particularly in practical skills required for professional licensure and employment.

06

Supporting Florida's Workforce

Our mission is closely connected to Florida's workforce needs. FSCS prepares students for careers in the beauty and barbering industries through career-focused instruction, hands-on training, professionalism, and preparation for applicable state licensure requirements.
